Substitute Teachers

Daily rate is $150.00. Teacher Certification Level I and above or Emergency Certification with four-year degree.

Substitute Custodian

Millersburg Area School District is accepting applications for substitute custodians . Applications are available at the district office or the district website.

Interested candidates should submit an Application for Custodial Employment, letter of interest, one current letter of recommendation, and current Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances to Mrs. Bobbie Prouse, Millersburg Area School District, 799 Center Street, Millersburg, PA 17061.  Act 168 Disclosure Release Form(s), PA School Health form, Act 24 Arrest Conviction Report, and Child Abuse Recognition Training required prior to employment.  EOE

Substitute School Nurses/Nurse Assistants

Licensed practical nurse (LPN) or registered nurse (RN).

Substitute Server General Worker/High School/Middle School 

Job duties include: 

  1. Sets up serving lines with utensils, napkins, lunch trays, cups, etc.

  2. Serves our customers (students, teachers, administrators, etc.) during meal periods.

  3. A thorough knowledge of portion control, serving utensils and menu requirements a must.

  4. Displays food items to our customers in an attractive manner.

  5. Assists with dish room or pot sink after serving.

  6. Practices all safety techniques developed by the school district and The Nutrition Group.

  7. Treats all our customers in a professional and friendly manner.

  8. Adheres to all policies of the school district and The Nutrition Group.

  9. Performs all other duties as directed by the Cook or Food Service Director.
