Our Riverfront Park extends several blocks along the banks of the Susquehanna River. It includes many benches, swings, and picnic tables to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. Boat rentals are available as well as the historic ferry boat to enjoy time on the water. The Park includes a peaceful meandering path for walking, jogging, or taking a leisurely ride on your bike enjoying the scenic beauty of the Susquehanna River. The pathway extends from the North side of town to the Wiconisco Creek where it meets up with the Swinging Bridge. The Swinging Bridge connects Riverfront Park with the M.Y.O. Park located on the South side of the creek. Summertime brings with it the 4th of July festivities - a community gathering of fun, food, and entertainment culminating in the evening's fireworks display of the scenic Susquehanna River.
Millersburg is home to several parks for family fun and activity
Riverfront Park
M.Y.O. Park
Our park on the South side of the Wiconisco Creek is sponsored by the Millersburg Youth Organization (M.Y.O.). The MYO Park has swings and a slide for young children. It also has a large pavilion for family get-togethers. Restrooms are available. On the South side of the park, there are wooded walking paths for nature enthusiasts.
Seal Park
Our park located in the town was provided by the former Seal Glove Company. Seal Park is located across the street from the high school parking lot. This park has several swings and slides for young children to enjoy. Restrooms are also available. It has a large sand box and two pavilions with available grill stands for family get-togethers. It also has a baseball field with dugouts and concessions. The park also has a large lightly wooded space and a small brook making its way along the edge of the park.
Wiconisco Park
Our park located on the Eastern edge of town is the Wiconisco Park (Wic. for short). Located along the banks of the Wiconisco Creek, the Wic. has a large activity area with swings, slides, a sandbox, and horseshoe pits. The park also has a pavilion with grill stands for family get-togethers. The Wic. has several ball fields for softball and soccer with concessions. Restrooms are also available. The creek is accessible directly from the activity area or just walk along the path adjacent to the creek for a chance to get a glimpse of a large snapping turtle or a Heron gliding its way along the path of the creek to the Susquehanna River.
Market Square / Veteran's Park
The park is located in the town square. Home to the Historic Gazebo, the park has several benches and historic signage providing readers with information to the early days of the town. The park is also the home to our Veteran's War Memorials. Winter time brings its own reason to visit the square; with a chance for children to meet Santa Claus and have the family gather 'round for the annual tree lighting ceremony.
Brown Bradenbaugh Park
The Bradenbaugh Park is located on the South side of town. It includes a softball field with dugouts and a concession stand.
