The Millersburg Area offers several family-centered attractions

Ferry Boat on the river

Nestled in the mountains of central Pennsylvania, just along the Susquehanna River, lies the last known wooden double stern-wheel paddle boats still in operation in the United States: the Millersburg Ferry Boats. With a fleet of two boats, The Roaring Bull V and The Falcon III, the Millersburg Ferry Boats are the only ferries still in service along the whole 464-mile-long Susquehanna River.

The mission of the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art is to honor the legacy of Ned Smith by merging the arts and natural world through education, exhibition, and experiences.

The station was built in 1898 by the Northern Central Railway. It is a two-story, brick and frame building in the Queen Anne style. It features a deep porch around three sides. The property also includes the stone foundation of the original baggage house. It was used as a passenger station until 1960. In 1982, it was acquired by the Historical Society of Millersburg and subsequently restored.

The Historical Society of Millersburg & Upper Paxton Township (a non-profit 501 C3, corporation) was established on June 3, 1980 in order to foster interest in the history of Millersburg and vicinity. Specifically to:
