Hello Millersburg Families! Exciting news… Our new Elementary School building is almost complete! Teachers, staff, and administration are excited for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Due to the consolidation of our district, there will be changes to transportation. The administration is working closely with Schlegel Transportation, Millersburg Borough, and local police. We are still fine tuning the transportation to ensure both efficiency and the safety of your child.
Below are some important transportation updates.
• Some students’ bus and/or bus pick up or drop off times have changed. If your child’s bussing information has changed from previous school years, the district will reach out to you with the specific changes in the next 2 weeks. If you do not hear from the district by August 9, know that your child’s bussing information will remain the same.
• If you are the parent of an incoming Kindergarten or Pre-K student expect to receive communication explaining your child’s transportation no later than August 9.
• We are also anticipating changes to the Middle School and High School dismissal time, permanent parent/sibling pickups, parent and bus drop off locations, the parking location for high school drivers and the parking location for parents. Once these changes are finalized you will receive information. In addition, these changes will be addressed at Back to School Nights.

The Millersburg Area School District is accepting applications for an Online Academy Coordinator. This is a permanent, 210 days a year position. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to lead individuals and initiatives, ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others. Requirements include: Master’s degree in education or related field and experience as an educator, counselor, and/or administrator in an educational setting.
