Millersburg Area School District Board Director Position: The Millersburg Area School District Board of Education has an opening for a school board director. To be eligible, individuals must be at least 18 years of age, and a resident of the Millersburg Area School District for at least one year prior to the date of election or appointment.

Clarification Regarding Early Dismissal
We would like to clarify the communication that was sent out earlier. The 12:20 PM parent pickup time is for elementary students who are permanent parent pickups.

If you are using the PowerSchool Mobile App, please close out of the app and allow it to pull the latest updates. On your next login attempt, ensure you see "Millersburg, PA https://ps.millersburgsd.us" above the username field. If it is still displaying "ps.mlbgsd.k12.pa.us" please delete the app from your device and redownload it.

We want to make families aware of a reported incident at a bus stop this morning. The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a report of an unknown individual communicating with a student near a bus stop. The district is being kept updated throughout their investigation.
As always, we encourage parents and guardians to be present with their children at bus stops whenever possible. We have also spoken with our bus drivers and transportation staff and reminded them to remain vigilant and mindful of their surroundings.
Student safety is always our highest priority. We encourage families to remain aware and continue their normal bus stop routines.

MILLERSBURG BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT — AUGUST 20
We’re excited to welcome our students and families back for Back-to-School Night on Thursday, August 20!
During the evening, families will have an opportunity to learn more about our new district-wide TRIBE Initiative and how we are continuing to support students in having a positive, meaningful, and impactful school experience.

Between 5:00–7:00 PM, we will offer a brief 15-minute rotating TRIBE presentation, in the cafeteria. for families.

We would like to inform our PreK–12 families that the annual PowerSchool rollover will take place on Wednesday, August 12.
Once the rollover is complete, students and families in PreK, Kindergarten, Elementary (Grades 1–4), Middle School (Grades 5–8), and High School (Grades 9–12) should be able to view classroom teacher assignments and student schedules in PowerSchool beginning on Thursday, August 13th.
This is a district-wide process that affects all PreK–12 students.
