Welcome to Millersburg Academy Online Learning!
The Millersburg Academy Online Learning (MAOL) is a full-time online program for GRADES K-12, and offers a blend of synchronous and asynchronous learning as an alternative to the traditional in-person classroom experience.
We offer high quality learning through live lessons and independent assignments. Students engage with their peers through community-based events, including district activities, sports and clubs. Millersburg Academy fosters a unique partnership between families and educators, ensuring a personalized and supportive learning experience.
The program is offered through a collaborative partnership between Millersburg Area School District and Pearson, a notable name in education with 20+ years of experience in online schools.
What is Millersburg Academy Online Learning?
The program is academically rigorous and requires high levels of student autonomy and dedication to learning. While some flexibility is a benefit of this program, students are expected to log in daily, maintain adequate grades, make satisfactory progress, and participate in communication with educators. Administrators will monitor student performance and pace, to ensure students are progressing through the program successfully.
