Note of Thanks
Dear teachers, staff, students and Lenkerville Families,
We are currently nearing the end of the first quarter of the 2020-2021 school year, and I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your diligence and efforts in providing as safe an environment as possible during the past nine weeks.
Our teachers have done their best to provide safe in-person learning while providing remote student learning (a new endeavor for all schools) to our students learning at home. This new venture has come with challenges, and our teachers have done an outstanding job of clearing these hurdles.
Our support staff have encountered many changes to their normal duties. These good people have worked longer hours and have been willing to help out when Lenkerville encounters problems that would not have been encountered in a normal year.
Our students have been great. They've met every expectation, in regards to safety, that we've asked of them. Few reminders are needed anymore as these new practices become routine.
Parents' most precious possesion is their children, and all of you have trusted Lenkeville to keep your children's best interests and safety in place every day. I know the mask requirements that the state enacted, were a cause for stress for so many of you. Thank you for giving Lenkerville a chance.
Thank you for all of your help as we continue our school year. More challenges are sure to come, but I couldn't be more blessed as principal of Lenkerville to have the support that all of these groups have provided this year.
