6th Grade- The 6th Grade Mathematics courses at MMS provide students with a strong foundation in Mathematical and Algebraic concepts and prepare them for higher level math courses.  Students will study number theory, decimals, fractions, percents, integers, ratios, proportions, numerical and algebraic expressions, equations, the coordinate plane, area, surface area, volume and measures of center and variability.

7th Grade- The 7th Grade Mathematics courses at MMS provide students with a strong foundation in Mathematical and Algebraic concepts and prepare them for higher level math courses.  Students work with mathematical operations with positive and negative rational numbers, proportional relationships, algebraic expressions, simple equations and inequalities, geometric figures, angle measure, circumference, area, surface area, volume, statistical analysis of populations and probability models.

8th Grade- The 8th Grade Mathematics courses at MMS provide students with a strong foundation in Algebraic concepts and prepare them for higher level math courses they will encounter in High School.  Students work with real numbers, (rational and irrational), expressions, equations, exponents, proportions, linear equations, functions, geometric transformations, the Pythagorean Theorem, volume, and bivariate data.
