I graduated from Millersburg High School in 1999.  After graduation, I pursued a degree in science starting at Harrisburg Area Community during my senior year in high school, and transferred to Elizabethtown College.  I graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2003 with honors in biology and my Bachelor's Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology.  I worked for the Penn State College of Medicine at the Hershey Medical Center from 2003 to 2005 in cancer research, and during that time was taking graduate classes toward teaching.  In 2005, I took a position teaching at Tri-Valley High School.  In 2007, I graduated from Temple University with a Master's Degree in Special Education.  I took a position in 2007, I started teaching at Millersburg Area School District.  My teaching certifications are in special education, math 7-12, and biology.

 

 

I reside in Millersburg with my husband, a son and a daughter, two dogs, and three horses.
