    These links were for middle school students, but could still be useful for 4th and 5th graders. I will be adding new websites for elementary students in the very near future, so please check back often!                             
     www.homeworkspot.com - This is a great one-stop site where you'll find a reference desk with a wide assortment of reference materials, current events, and help in all subjects for elementary, middle, and high school levels.
    www.funbrain.com/kidcenter.html - tons of games (math, words, general); you can also find Mad Libs under "reading."
    https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/944/01/  - MLA guide: provides correct formatting of research resource pages, grammar and writing help.
    www.thefreedictionary.com - extensive dictionary/thesaurus, encyclopedias, quote of the day, this day in history, weather, etc.
    http://thesaurus.reference.com - just type in the word, select how you want to search (dictionary, thesaurus, encyclopedia, or web), then hit enter. I typed in the word "wonderful, selected thesaurus, and it listed 33 entries, all giving the part of speech, definition, synonyms, antonyms, and its source!
    www.infoplease.com/index.html - You will find practically anything you need to help with homework, research, current events, science projects, etc.! (almanacs, encyclopedias, world and US news, school subject homework help, and lots more.
