  • Biology Keystone Information: Starting with the class of 2017, a graduation component of any Pennsylvania public school will be passing specific Keystone exams:  these exams are designed to make sure that students are meeting state standards.

    • Test is made up of 2 modules. Module one (A) covers Cells and Cell Processes. Module two (B) covers Continuity and Unity of Life.

    • Module A: Cells and Cell Processes 32 multiple choice, 4 constructed response.
    • Anchor 1 - Basic Biological Principles
    • Anchor 2 - Chemical Basis for Life
    • Anchor 3 - Bioenergetics
    • Anchor 4 - Homeostasis and Transport

    • Module B: Continuity and Unity of Life 32 multiple choice, 4 constructed response.
    • Anchor 1 - Cell Growth and Reproduction
    • Anchor 2 - Genetics
    • Anchor 3 - Theory of Evolution
    • Anchor 4 - Ecology

    • Total: 64 Multiple choice Questions, 8 Constructed Response
