Welcome to my slice of the Millersburg Area School District website.

The New School Year has arrived.  Summer weather lingers, but we're seeing fall sports teams and band practicing outdoors, along with Back to School Sales being in full swing.

If you are signed up for Honors Algebra II, Honors Precalculus or Calculus, you ought to have a summer packet in your hands.  If you are signed up for one of those courses and do not have a packet, come to the high school office and check my mailbox for extras.  Have a good summer and we'll see you August 20th!

If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend coming to the high school office to get your student's Powerschool account and password.  It makes checking grades from home a cinch.  Also, don't hesitate to pass along access to your student.  They can even download an App for their phones to help them keep track of scores and assignments.

Winter has left the Lykens Valley.  Here is a graphic from Mount Washington Observatory (NH) from a previous season.

What was the strongest wind gust in the past 24 hours?  What was the average wind speed at 9:00 AM this morning?  What was the current temperature at the summit?  What was the coldest wind chill temperature recorded in the previous 24 hours?

Taking the SAT's in the near future?  An informative link was shared with me on how the new SAT version compares to the old version.  The old version was given one last time in January 2016, with the new version taking over in March 2016.  Here is the link, so check it out... http://sat.ivyglobal.com/new-vs-old/
